Step 1
Find Your Number of Dancers
Guest Count ÷ 2 = Number of Dancers
For most weddings, corporate events, and galas, you should assume that HALF of the guests will be dancing on the floor at once. This might sound low at first, but at any given time some people will be sitting at their table to rest or chat, others will be taking a break from dancing to visit the bathroom or the bar, and so on.
Once you have a guest count, simply divide it by 2 to determine your number of dancers.
Step 2
Check Our Chart
Find your Number of Dancers (or the closest number to it) on the chart below to identify the length and width you need for your dance floor. It's that simple!

Dance Floor Size Chart
If you prefer a square dance floor, choose a bold number on the diagonal line that best matches your Number of Dancers.
If your chosen venue has size given you size limitations, find the number that is closest to that size (without going over!) at the top of the chart. Skim down the column to find the closest match to your Number of Dancers to determine the dance floor length you need.
