The Story of Bibbo Burgers

During an industry event in Tampa, the party had dwindled. With long bar lines and scarce food, attendees were tired and hungry. By the time everyone returned to their hotels, the bar was closing—at 11 p.m.! How could a group of event professionals be told no at 11:00? After some persuasion, they kept the bar open, but there was no food for our hungry group. Realizing no other options were available, I asked our team (they thought I was crazy) to grab 100 McDonald’s burgers (the McDonald's team thought I was crazy too!). They came through, and the burgers were a hit.

The next morning, I was unexpectedly hailed as a hero for saving the night with burgers. That’s how Bibbo Burgers began.

As time went on, Bibbo Burgers became a symbol of extending the night and keeping the party going, and the slogan of "Just One More" was born. During the pandemic, when everyone was struggling, a close industry partner and friend stepped in to help save our company. He said, “I helped you because who brings 100 burgers to a party at the end of the night? You just know how to do it.”

That’s when Bibbo Burgers took on new significance for me. It’s not just about burgers but about the responsibility we have to others who depend on us. So, the next time the night comes to a close, remember: "Just One More" and hope there's a burger waiting!
