Position Summary:

The Videographer / Photographer is responsible for capturing, producing and editing video / photo content for Event Source’s Marketing Department for use on various platforms (social media, digital media, and etc.). In this role, you will work collaboratively with our marketing department, management, operations team and etc. You will create impactful, engaging video / photo content for internal use including but not limited to instructional and motivational videos as well as externally to showcase various products and events.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as the primary videographer, photographer and editor for all video / photo content.
  • Capture high quality event content capturing fun, friendly moments both candid and occasionally staged.
  • Maintain all video / photography equipment.
  • Conceptualize and effectively use music, graphics and creative editing to execute style objective of projects.
  • Assist in production process, storyboard development and general concept ideation for all video / photo projects.
  • Work closely with team to determine the topics of the videos and prioritization.
  • Coordinate all activities and materials supporting each photographic and video shoot project.
  • Stay on the cutting edge of industry trends and provide recommendations for video / photo equipment as needed.
  • Willingness to work on other marketing projects when not working on video / photo content.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of photography / videography within the digital domain.
  • Experience with developing and editing engaging video / photo content as well as social media-specific video content.
  • Understanding of basic lighting best practices.
  • Ability to record and mix high quality audio for video.
  • Experience with professional camera systems and settings.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Must have good communication and people skills.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Must have commitment to deadlines and be open to flexible working hours.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must pass company background check and drug screen.



  • Full-time Monday - Friday.
  • Shift time and work days are flexible. Final schedule will be determined between candidate and manager.
  • Some nights and weekends depending on the event.
  • Open to travel as needed (up to 20%) to film / photo various events, including some overnight travel to our other locations in Miami, Orlando, Pompano Beach, Detroit, Pittsburgh and Columbus.
